China News Service, July 22. According to the WeChat public account of the Chinese Embassy in Serbia, at present, the Omicron variant is spreading rapidly, and the global epidemic continues to spread.

Studies have shown that the new branches of the mutants have further enhanced transmission and immune evasion capabilities.

The risk of infection in cross-border travel is still relatively high, and many recent flights to China have triggered circuit breakers due to a large number of imported cases.

In order to ensure the safety of passengers going to China and the smooth operation of direct flights between China and Serbia, and reduce the risk of imported epidemics, the Chinese Embassy in Serbia reminds those who go to China to strictly protect themselves:

  1. Consciously do a good job of self-health monitoring before departure.

Reduce non-essential going out before the trip, and avoid participating in dinners, gatherings and other activities or going to crowded and confined spaces.

Take precautions when you go out for testing, and stay vigilant after completing the test, and keep self-isolation as much as possible before going to the airport to avoid the impact of infection on yourself and the health of your fellow passengers after the test.

  2. Take precautions throughout the journey.

Wear a mask (KN95/N95/FFP2 and other more protective masks are recommended), and prepare portable hand sanitizers, disinfectant wipes and other protective equipment.

When going to the airport, try not to take public transportation, do not go to confined spaces such as smoking areas in the airport, avoid eating or gathering at the airport, and keep a safe distance when there are many people.

Take the temperature difference on the plane into consideration when you take the flight, and bring your own warm clothes.

  3. Persons from third countries come to Serbia for transit, because they need to temporarily stay in hotels and other external places, the relative risk of infection is higher.

Please be vigilant, be responsible for the health of yourself and your fellow passengers, and do your best protection.

Please strictly take personal protection during your stay in the hotel. Except for testing and going to the airport, it is recommended to avoid going to other places to prevent the travel being blocked or being stranded in the block due to infection, and try your best to ensure a smooth return to China and avoid the risk of importation.

For those who go to China, please read the relevant notices about applying for the health code to China carefully and submit the application strictly according to the requirements.
