During the eighth hearing on Donald Trump's actions during the storming of the Capitol, the committee, which led the hearing, showed a video of Trump preparing for a speech.
The video was taken the day after the storming, and in the clip, a troubled Trump can be seen wanting to avoid saying that he has lost the presidential election.
"I don't want to say the election is over," followed by "I just want to say Congress has confirmed the result," he is heard saying in the video.
