“Now there is a striking change between what Montenegrins and Macedonians feel about Russia, and what they are forcing their politicians to do from Brussels, the EU, NATO,” the minister said in an interview with the Our Cinema association.

According to him, this is an attempt to make them a "tool" against Russia.

“This is the same thing that they tried to do from Ukraine and from a number of other Eastern European countries,” Lavrov said.

Earlier, U.S. Representative Richie Torres, along with his colleague Lisa McClain, submitted a bill to Congress that aims to obtain more information about Russia's security cooperation with the Western Balkan states, including Croatia, Montenegro and Serbia.
