The yield is noticeably higher compared to last year: now it averages 41.7 centners per hectare (it was 33.3 centners per hectare,” the report says.

According to the ministry, farmers harvested grains and legumes from 7.4 million hectares, including 25.3 million tons of wheat and 3.9 million tons of barley.

Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Agriculture said that lending for seasonal field work in the country has increased by 34.3% since the beginning of 2022 compared to the same period in 2021.
