She stated during the meeting of the partners of the Arab Alliance against Breast Cancer, which was organized by the Friends of Cancer Patients Association in a hotel in Sharjah, yesterday and today, that the highest rate of breast cancer cases among Emirati females comes between the age groups 45-49, and the lowest is in the 80-84 age group. years, while the highest rate of infection among female residents is between the age groups 40-44, and the lowest number of cases were diagnosed in the age group 20-24.

Dr. Buthaina Abdullah said that 834 cases of breast cancer were diagnosed in 2017, representing 20.23% of all cases, while 825 cases were diagnosed among females in the same year, accounting for 36.67% of all cancers among females, noting that the Covid-19 pandemic affected during The year 2020 will affect many cancer patients, including breast cancer, due to the shift of most health services to the investigation and treatment of Covid cases in many places.
