This is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the office of the Prime Minister of Israel.

It is noted that the decision was made after Israeli Prime Minister Yair Lapid, together with representatives of the country's Foreign Ministry and the Israeli Security Council, assessed the situation with the agency.

The Israeli side is planning to send a delegation next week to ensure the continuation of the activities of the Jewish Agency in Russia.

Earlier, the Basmanny Court of Moscow announced that the main department of the Ministry of Justice for Moscow was asking to liquidate the Jewish agency Sokhnut.

The hearing on the lawsuit is scheduled for July 28.
