China News Service, July 20. According to the website of the Chinese Embassy in Liberia, on July 6, the Ministry of Health of Liberia released the latest version of the epidemic prevention regulations for travelers entering and leaving the country. The main contents are as follows:

Those arriving in Liberia no longer need to show a negative nucleic acid test report after arriving at Roberts International Airport (RIA), nor do they need to undergo a nucleic acid test at the airport, but they still need to show proof of their new crown vaccination. If there is no proof, they will be repatriated.

Those who leave the country need to check the epidemic prevention regulations of the destination in advance, and it is recommended to complete the whole process of vaccination against the new crown.

If the destination requires a nucleic acid test, the applicant must take a nucleic acid test before the trip and the result must be negative.

The designated nucleic acid testing institution is Union Center, located at Sophia Road, Congo Town, Monrovia. The working hours are from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm every day (no rest on weekends and holidays). The fee is US$75 per time. Applicants need to print nucleic acid in advance Report, to be presented upon request upon arrival at the RIA.

Reminder from the Chinese Embassy in Liberia

At present, the global COVID-19 epidemic is still very serious, and the domestic epidemic prevention and control task is very arduous and urgent. The World Health Organization recently declared that the COVID-19 pandemic continues to constitute a public health emergency of international concern.

The Chinese Embassy in Liberia solemnly reminds the coming and overseas Chinese in Liberia to pay close attention to the latest developments of the epidemic and relevant announcements of the Liberian government, actively cooperate with the Liberian government in the prevention and control work, abide by the regulations on health and epidemic prevention in Liberia, and avoid group activities or going to crowded places, etc. Continue to adhere to "non-essential, non-emergency, no travel" to reduce the risk of cross-infection caused by long-distance travel, and do a good job of personal protection under the normalization of the epidemic, such as wearing masks, washing hands frequently, and maintaining social distance; If you have suspected symptoms such as dry cough and itchy throat, please go to a medical institution for treatment in time. If you are diagnosed with a diagnosis, please actively cooperate with the treatment and report to the embassy immediately (the 24-hour consular protection telephone of the embassy: 0886555556).
