Claes Pellvik is head of communications at the charter company Ving.

He has followed the negotiation tours and is relieved that it is now over.

- Of course, we are very happy that they have reached the finish line so that traffic can now be resumed as soon as possible.

Some flights already canceled

Ving has planned for twelve charter flights with SAS from Sweden this week.

This applies to departures on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

In total, about 1,200 guests are booked on them, says Pellvik.

He hopes that the charter passengers can now get away.

- We probably expect that it will be able to go as planned because it is a few days away.

Although it will surely take some day before planes and crews are in the right place.

The company has also had charter departures with SAS scheduled for Tuesday morning, but it is already clear that they have been canceled.

Ving also has some bookings for regular flights in the coming days.

- In addition to that, we have almost 400 guests who travel with regular package tours with SAS.

30,000 passengers must have been affected every day

Ving also has a few charter passengers waiting to come home to Sweden.

- The vast majority of our guests are already at home because we have not sent out any guests in two weeks with SAS.

According to SAS's own calculations, up to 30,000 passengers per day have been affected by the cancellation of the company's planned departures.

- We are confident that SAS will work as quickly as possible to get everything started in the best way.
