Washington threatens China "to pay a heavy price" if it helps Russia circumvent sanctions

US State Department spokesman Ned Price confirmed that Washington and dozens of its allies will impose a heavy price on China if Russia helps circumvent the sanctions.

He noted that the United States has not yet recorded such actions, but is closely monitoring compliance with the sanctions regime.

Price said that the supply of weapons or any assistance from China to Russia in evading sanctions will entail a very high price, which will not be imposed by Washington alone, but in cooperation with dozens of countries around the world.
