It was at half past six on Monday morning that the accident occurred on the E4 between Åckne and Tjärnvik, north of Gnarp.
The truck must have driven into the center railing.
According to Hudiksvalls Tidning, the accident caused an emission of approximately 500 liters of diesel which had to be decontaminated by the rescue service.
The traffic from E4 is redirected via road 792 over Gryttje.
The Swedish Transport Administration expects that the vehicle will have been salvaged from the site by 2 pm today.
