The Traffic and Patrols Department at the Sharjah Police General Command organized a three-day traffic awareness exhibition at Al Zahia Mall yesterday, in cooperation with the Sharjah Driving Institute and Rafid Vehicle Solutions, as they are the strategic partners for driving within the integrated traffic system in Sharjah.
The Director of the Traffic Awareness and Information Branch in Sharjah Police, Captain Saud Al Shaiba, stated that the exhibition aims to spread awareness and traffic culture among the various segments of society of different categories and ages, and diversify the channels of communication with the public, especially road users, because of the positive results represented in reducing congestion. traffic, reduce accidents and the resulting dangerous consequences.
Al-Shaiba said that the exhibition will include introducing the center's visitors to the dangers of speed by displaying a set of photos of traffic accidents, and some mistakes made by vehicle drivers that lead to accidents, especially eloquent ones.
He explained that the platform will host a number of traffic awareness activities for children, including competitions, daily raffles, prizes and awareness gifts.
