Move out of the mountains to live and work in peace and contentment (people's happy life is the greatest human right)

As the province with the largest scale of ex-situ poverty alleviation and relocation in the country, Guizhou has 1.92 million poor people who have moved out of the mountains to live in modern residential communities and start a happy new life.

In recent years, Guizhou has made every effort to build "five systems" of basic public services, training and employment services, cultural services, community governance, and grass-roots party building, focusing on public education, medical care, and employment services to ensure that the relocated people are stable and have employment. , and gradually become rich.

During the "13th Five-Year Plan" period, on the basis of coordinating the surrounding educational resources of the resettlement sites, Guizhou invested more than 18 billion yuan to build, rebuild and expand 669 supporting schools to ensure that the children of the relocated people can go to school nearby; Develop characteristic industries and other methods to ensure stable employment for more than one person in a labor force family; 949 centralized resettlement sites have achieved full coverage of public health service institutions... Guizhou takes multiple measures to protect the rights and interests of the relocated people, and do a good job in the second half of the poverty alleviation and relocation article".

Go to school nearby to improve the quality

"It used to take more than an hour to go to school in the town, but now it takes more than 10 minutes to get there. There are bright classrooms and various interesting activities. Everyone likes it very much." Student Li Tongtong is very satisfied with the current study and living environment.

In 2018, Li Tongtong's family moved from Jinlan Village, Jinlan Town, Qianxi City to Jinxiu Huadu Community, the city's largest resettlement site for ex-situ poverty alleviation.

The family lived in a big, safe and spacious house. Li Tongtong's father Li Yuxiang said, "Before I entered the city, I was worried about the baby's reading. Now, it seems that these worries are unnecessary."

There are 4,044 households and 18,005 relocated people from 24 towns and villages in the Jinxiu Huadu Community Resettlement Site.

In order to ensure that the children of the relocated people can go to the nearest school, the Huadu District of Guangzhou City, the counterpart of the poverty alleviation cooperation between the east and west of Qianxi City, assisted the construction of Jinxiu School.

Education is a special concern of the relocated people.

For a long time, Guizhou has given priority to school-age children to "go to school and want to go to school", so as to achieve full coverage of supporting educational facilities in ex-situ poverty alleviation and resettlement sites.

In addition to improving the supporting facilities, Guizhou, while making overall use of the existing teacher resources, adopts the methods of recruitment, introduction, examination and adjustment, follow-up, exchange and learning of special-post teachers, and assigns the teachers of the excellent and strong resettlement sites to supporting schools.

Among them, the selection of outstanding teachers in primary and secondary schools and kindergartens in the county is the main one, and a total of more than 30,000 teachers from schools supporting resettlement sites have been allocated.

The ex-situ poverty alleviation and relocation not only allows the poor people to move out of the mountains, but also allows children to bid farewell to the history of traveling through mountains and water to school, and enjoy a fairer and higher-quality education.

Classified policies to stabilize employment

In a garment workshop in Huatan Community, a relocation site in Shatu Town, Jinsha County, Bijie City, workers are skillfully operating sewing machines, and the whole workshop is busy.

Hu Yourong, a workshop worker, said: "After moving here, I have a job at my doorstep, and I can take care of the whole family. The monthly salary is about 3,000 yuan, and my life is very stable."

According to Yu Honggui, the head of the workshop, the factory mainly produces fire-fighting uniforms, shirts, underwear and other clothing. There are currently more than 50 workers. "After all are put into production, the employment of 100 people can be solved."

Yucai Community is the largest ex-situ poverty alleviation and resettlement site in Songtao County, Tongren City. There is a special "micro-factory" here, and the workers are all over 50 years old.

Walking into the workshop, dozens of workers were busy sealing the stuffed puppets, and 52-year-old Zhang Guiying was one of them.

"I sew about 500 pieces a day, and I can earn about 40 yuan." Beside Zhang Guiying, the puppets were already piled up into a hill.

With the help of the Songtao County Ecological Immigration Bureau, a toy factory in the Economic Development Zone of the county has set up a "micro-factory" in the Yucai community to hand over simple manual work to the middle-aged and the elderly. At present, 38 people have been stably employed here.

A series of measures to solve the employment of people who have been relocated, such as "micro-factories", have blossomed everywhere in Guizhou.

To realize the “stable, employable, and richness” of the relocated people, Guizhou will focus on large and medium-sized centralized resettlement areas, increase support for employment and entrepreneurship, industrial allocation, skills training, etc. Industry structure, employability, etc. shall be arranged in different regions, and employment shall be solved by classification.

Under the protection of various favorable policies, the employment of the relocated people in Guizhou has changed from ensuring poverty alleviation to improving quality in an all-round way.

As of the end of June this year, 414,500 households and 929,900 people have been employed, and more than one person in one household with labor force has been employed.

For the elderly Teng Wuxian, who lives in Fanrui Community, Jiangkou County, Tongren City, seeing a doctor now is not only close, there are many choices, and the burden is light. .
