“I want to remind you once again that if Sweden and Finland do not take the necessary steps to fulfill our conditions, we will freeze this process,” Erdogan said at a press conference following the government meeting, TASS reports.

The Turkish leader said that Ankara has a very clear position on this issue.

Earlier, Erdogan informed that Turkey received guarantees for the extradition from Sweden of members of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK), which Ankara recognized as terrorist, there are more than 70 of them.

On June 28, Ankara reported that Sweden and Finland agreed to full cooperation with Turkey in the fight against the Kurdistan Workers' Party and the organization of the Islamic preacher Fethullah Gülen (FETÖ).
