The problems at SOS Alarm were first noticed at two o'clock during the night until Monday.

A couple of hours later, Anna Nyström suffered a severe panic attack and decided to seek emergency help, but when she picked up the phone to dial 112, the call was not forwarded.

- I had medicine at home, so that way it was not an emergency, but it's awful if someone is seriously injured.

Or at a birth, for example, a birth is not waiting, she says.

At first, it was also difficult to understand why the call was not received, says Anna.

At an early stage, she could not find any information from either the police or SOS Alarm.

- After I called, I went to the police website, but they had not written anything.

That information came much later.

It is unclear what is behind it

According to SOS Alarm, the problems were fixed at half past seven on Monday morning.

After that, however, it took another couple of hours before Anna finally came into contact with the care.

She herself has studied emergency medicine, and wonders how the disturbances could have such extensive consequences.

- We have seen before that a region crashes, but that the whole of Sweden does it is strange.

Systems like this must work, she says.

What caused the disturbances is still unknown.

SOS Alarm writes in a press release that the incident will now be investigated further to "analyze causes and further measures".

- Operational disruptions do not often happen to this extent, said SOS Alarm's communications manager Staffan Ekengren to SVT on Monday morning.
