According to TASS, the emergency was the result of heavy rains in the Beichuan Qiang Autonomous County.

Roads and power lines were severely damaged in several places.
The search for the missing residents is currently underway.
Earlier it became known that as a result of a landslide that occurred in the north-east of India due to heavy rains, at least 14 people were killed, another 30 were missing.
