The controversy swells around the death of the former Angolan president, José Eduardo dos Santos.

A Spanish magistrate has given his agreement for additional analyses, which will delay the handing over of the body to the family.

Spanish justice took into account the complaint of Tchizé dos Santos.

The ex-president's daughter accuses her father's personal doctor and his last wife, Ana Paula, of being responsible for the deterioration of her health.

His death, although considered natural by doctors, would be "

 suspicious

", in the words of Tchizé.

The latter would also like her father to be buried in Spain, where he had lived since 2019.

She also said she was not in favor of a state funeral that could favor Angola's current government, which has opened wide-ranging corruption investigations targeting the family of ex-leader Dos Santos.
