A British man has taken a selfie with his supercar being engulfed in flames and quickly burned down.

According to foreign media such as the British Daily Mail on the 14th local time, a Lamborghini supercar burned down due to engine overheating on a road in Bedfordshire, England.

On the same day, the owner, Siro Siam Phi, 45, came back after attending a local car show with her daughter, buying his own Lamborghini Aventador, and buying his drink.

The woman in her car noticed smoke starting to rise from the engine room behind her passenger seat.

After she was startled, Shiro told her daughter to stay away from her, she grabbed the small fire extinguisher provided and went to put out the fire.

However, the fire grew and he eventually gave up fighting the fire.

Instead, Shiro picked up his cell phone and started filming his fast-burning supercar.

According to a video filmed by Shiro, his car quickly caught fire and a fire engine arrived and put out the fire, but most of the car had already been burned.

"It was powerless to be able to do anything," Shiro said at the time.

It is known that the damage to the property of the vehicle was about 200,000 pounds (about KRW 310 million), and foreign media such as the Daily Mail said, "The problem occurred because the vehicle overheated in the hot sunlight while participating in a car show all day. It is estimated," he reported.

Meanwhile, Lamborghini recalled the same model that caught fire in 2017.

In a defect investigation conducted as a number of fire accidents were reported in the vehicle, it was found that if the vehicle's fuel tank is overfilled, there is a risk of ignition due to contact with hot exhaust gas.
