Yashin told a representative of the PMC of Moscow that he was taken to the temporary detention center on July 13 early in the morning and was first placed in a cell with two neighbors.

One of them is accused of terrorism, the other of drug trafficking, human rights activists specified.

After the meeting of the court, which chose him a measure of restraint in the form of arrest, he is kept alone, the organization explained.

According to the representative of the POC, Yashin said that in the morning he was given incomplete hygiene supplies.

“But this was his only complaint about the conditions of detention, he called the food normal, in the morning they gave porridge for breakfast, there were no conflicts with cellmates,” the human rights activist added.

Yashin will spend no more than ten days in the temporary detention center, then he will be transferred to the pre-trial detention center.
