The Russian Ministry of Agriculture announced this on Telegram.

It is noted that this year the pace of work and productivity for a number of crops is much higher than last year.

“Including 15.5 million tons of wheat (+46.2%), 3.5 million tons of barley (+29.6%) were harvested,” the report says.

Earlier, the US Department of Agriculture raised the forecast for the harvest of wheat in Russia in the 2022/2023 agricultural year.

At the same time, the export forecast remained at around 40 million tons.
