Saudi Arabia announces the start of receiving applications for Umrah visas, starting today

 The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia announced the start of receiving requests for issuing visas to perform Umrah and visit the Prophet’s Mosque for those coming from outside the Kingdom from all countries of the world, starting today, Thursday.

The ministry explained in a press statement - broadcast by the Saudi Press Agency "SPA" - that the start of Umrah for pilgrims from inside and outside the Kingdom begins on the first of Muharram next year 1444 AH, corresponding to July 30.

She stated that permits can be issued to pilgrims from inside the Kingdom through the “Umrahna” application, amid an integrated system of health services and measures approved by the concerned authorities to maintain the safety and health of pilgrims and visitors, within easy procedures that ensure the performance of Umrah rituals with peace and ease.

It is noteworthy that the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah is working in coordination with the competent authorities to determine preventive health measures to protect against the (Covid 19) virus, including: obtaining approved vaccines in the Kingdom, attaching a certificate of immunization approved by the official authorities in the country of the pilgrim, in addition to an acknowledgment of the correctness of the information.
