“The Basmanny District Court of Moscow received material at the request of the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation on the choice of a preventive measure in the form of detention in respect of Andrey Mikhailovich Gurovich, who is accused of committing a crime under paragraph “c” of Part 3 of Art.
286 of the Criminal Code of Russia," TASS reports.
Earlier, RIA Novosti, citing a source, reported that a criminal case had been opened against Andrei Gurovich for malfeasance.
In May, Russian President Vladimir Putin dismissed Andrei Gurovich from the post of deputy head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
