The American Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, which hosts the Emmy Awards, has announced the nominees for each category at the 74th Emmy Awards.



Squid Game was named as the nominee for Best Picture in the Drama category, with 7 works selected, along with Succession and Stranger Things.

In the case of Best Picture, since only dramas produced in English have been awarded qualifications, the Squid Game became the first work to break the language barrier in this category.



Squid Game was also nominated for 14 categories, including Best Picture, and was recorded as the work with the most number of foreign language dramas ever.



The most nominees for the category went to Succession, a drama dealing with conflicts and conflicts within a media conglomerate family over inheritance.
