High fuel and energy prices are usually one of the main reasons why inflation is rising.

But now more and more people are starting to talk about the fact that companies' pricing can also play an important role.

- Everyone understands that companies need to transfer some of their increased costs to us consumers, but they seem to transfer more than is reasonable and fair, says Torbjörn Hållö, economist at LO.

The Riksbank is also on the same track in its latest monetary policy report.

It says that "there may be a tendency to take the opportunity to raise prices".

This is because a price increase does not stand out in the same way as before.

But the Confederation of Swedish Enterprise is critical of the accusations.

- I think one draws far too strong conclusions based on a very simple and deficient analysis, says chief economist Sven-Olov Daunfeldt.
