- We want to start running it already now, but it's about recruitment.

The ambition is for it to roll out already now at the end of the summer, says Ann Molander, chairman of Region Halland's operations committee for ambulance, diagnostics and health.

Kungsbacka has previously had problems with the fact that there are few ambulances over large geographical areas.

The plan is for the new ambulance to make ambulances in Varberg, for example, more often available further south and thus relieve the entire region.

In Halland, there are a total of 19 fully equipped ambulances, of which 12 also run at night.

Of these, 3 are currently based in Kungsbacka.

The new ambulance is expected to cost SEK 9 million per year.
