On Sunday in Lyon, the emergency services discovered the bodies of two brothers, aged 89 and 81, in an apartment in Croix-Rousse.
They lived there with their 86-year-old sister.

Single, the three octogenarians lived on the fourth floor of their building.
According to the first elements of the investigation, the eldest took care of his younger brothers alone, without any outside help to help him with household chores.
His brother was however severely disabled and his sister, hard of hearing, also suffered from diabetes, specifies the regional daily.
A neighbor, worried that she would no longer see him in the building, called the fire department.
Upon entering the apartment through the window, the emergency services then found the two men dead.
Their sister was taken to hospital.
An investigation was also opened to clarify the causes of death.
