The court replaced the decision to suspend the work of the CPC with a fine

“To change the decision of the Primorsky District Court of Novorossiysk dated July 5, 2022 on the administrative suspension of CPC activities.

Replace the punishment with a fine of 200,000 rubles,” he said.

On July 5, the Novorossiysk District Court ruled to suspend the company's operations for 30 days due to environmental violations.

Then the CPC announced its intention to appeal the decision.

The court's decision was due to the fact that during the inspection of the CPC, Rostransnadzor specialists revealed several "documentary violations under the oil spill response plan."

At the end of June, CPC paid a fine of 5.285 billion rubles to the Russian federal budget for the oil spill in the Black Sea last year.
