Switzerland froze $6.8 billion of Russian assets by early July

“As of July 7, 2022, financial assets in the amount of 6.7 billion Swiss francs and 15 properties have been frozen in Switzerland,” the agency said.

Earlier, Swiss President Ignazio Cassis noted during an international conference in Lugano that the confiscation of Russian assets in favor of Ukraine would create a dangerous precedent.
