Sisi demands Lapid clarification on reports that Israel burned Egyptian soldiers alive

For its part, the Egyptian presidency said in a statement that "views were exchanged on the developments of the Palestinian issue, as it was agreed to work to arrange bilateral and multilateral meetings involving Egypt, Israel and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas during the coming period in order to revitalize peace negotiations."

She added that Lapid expressed his appreciation for the efforts made by Egypt, led by Sisi, to achieve security, stability and cooperation in the region.

And she added that Sisi affirmed, for his part, "Egypt's continuation of its efforts to achieve a comprehensive and just peace on the basis of the two-state solution and the references of international legitimacy, in a way that opens prospects for cooperation and development for all the peoples of the region." economic field.
