According to the senator, the European Commission is not capable of fighting smuggling, and weapons can be plundered "even before they enter the territory of Ukraine."

“And its sale will be carried out from Poland and from other countries, this is the essence of the modern North Atlantic bloc of NATO and those countries that are part of it,” the source said.

According to him, agreements on this matter “are taking place even before the stage of the arrival of weapons on the territory of Ukraine.”

Earlier, European Commissioner for Internal Affairs Ylva Johansson announced that the EC is launching a center in Moldova to combat arms smuggling from Ukraine.

As the head of the Bureau of Economic Security of Ukraine, Vadim Melnyk, admitted, the department recorded repeated sales of aid coming from the West, including military goods.

The head of the Russian Defense Ministry, Sergei Shoigu, also noted that some of the weapons supplied by the West to Ukraine had already hit the black market.
