Sale of video games imported by parallel import began in Russia

It is noted that the Wildberries and Ozon marketplaces began selling video games Gran Turismo 7 and Ghostwire Tokyo with Russian subtitles.

Sony canceled the releases of these games in Russia in March 2022. 

At the same time, the Wildberries press service confirmed to the agency that the sellers of the marketplace import video games through parallel imports, but did not specify from which countries.

Earlier, the media wrote that the Ministry of Digital Development and State Duma deputies are discussing with Russian IT companies state support for the development of a domestic video game development tool, also known as a game engine.
