Earlier, Vladimir Putin simplified the acquisition of Russian citizenship for all residents of Ukraine, the LPR and the DPR.
On July 1, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the LPR reported that about 300 thousand residents of the republic received Russian citizenship.
