The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry called on the Canadian authorities to reconsider the decision to return the Nord Stream turbine to Germany in order to maintain pressure on Russia.

Minister for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection Robert Habek earlier urged Canada to resolve the issue with the delivery of a turbine for the Nord Stream gas pipeline.

After that, Canada decided to return the turbine to Berlin.

At the same time, the general director of the GTS Operator of Ukraine, Serhiy Makogon, called Canada's decision to return the turbine a bad precedent for exemption from sanctions.

Berlin noted that the German government took note of Kyiv's criticism.
