Fields has been closed for a week after a 22-year-old man shot dead three people and injured several visitors on July 4.

Among the injured was a 16-year-old girl from Kristianstad.

Now the Danish shopping center opens again and at lunchtime on Monday a minute of silence was observed.

Want to create a normal everyday life

- We feel that a minute of silence is a dignified way to remember the victims and it is something we can stand behind, all stores and customers who come to Field's today, says Stina Rysgaard, spokesperson at Field's.

She adds that they want to open up and have a "normal everyday life as soon as possible".

- There are many considerations to be taken into account in this situation, but we feel that the best way is to show that this looks as it usually does and that together we can take a few small steps to reach back to a normal everyday life, says Stina Rysgaard to Danmarksradio.
