The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, on the air of the Sunday Evening with Vladimir Solovyov program, called the departure of British Foreign Minister Liz Truss from the G20 meeting in Bali in connection with the resignation of British Prime Minister Boris Johnson as a “deep boycott” of the delegation from Russia.
“It’s just such, you know, a deep boycott of the Russian delegation - they left the day before,” RIA Novosti quotes her.
On July 7, it became known that Truss was interrupting his visit to the G20 summit in Indonesia and returning to London.
Zakharova has previously said that Western countries "incited" their media to come up with a boycott of Russia at the G20 summit.
