On July 9, the 14th Straits Forum and the First Cross-Strait (Fuzhou) Traditional Wushu Exhibition and Performance Conference opened in Changle, Fuzhou, the first hometown of Wushu in the country. More than 60 Wushu lovers from both sides of the Strait gathered to further promote Fujian and Taiwan Wushu. Cultural exchange, interaction and cooperation.
At the opening ceremony, 70 martial arts players from Taiwan Sports Federation, Taiwan Sports Federation Wushu Association and Taichung, Hsinchu, Nantou and other places conducted online martial arts performances.
Traditional Wushu is a sport that combines the characteristics of Chinese history, culture, fighting and competition.
Traditional martial arts on both sides of the strait have the same origin and are inherited from each other, and have a certain influence and mass foundation in the traditional martial arts movement in Taiwan.
The Wushu associations from both sides of the Taiwan Strait participating in the conference have expressed that in the future, they will explore the establishment of the Fujian-Taiwan Wushu Exchange Alliance, innovate a new model of cross-strait Wushu culture exchange, and promote the spiritual integration of the people on both sides of the strait with the same source of Wushu culture.
