ryeol, a candidate for the Fair Trade Commission, announced his resignation this afternoon through the personnel hearing preparation team.

It's only been six days since she was nominated, and it's only been two days since she requested a personnel hearing.

Candidate Song said she was not sure if she would be able to take on a big public office and live up to the expectations of the people, and communicated that she would focus on the teaching profession.

Candidate Song has been at the center of controversy over sexual harassment remarks in the past since the nomination of the Fair Trade Commission Chairman, but it is interpreted that he felt burdened by the constant criticism.

It was reported that candidate Song, a professor at Seoul National University's Graduate School of Law, made inappropriate remarks, such as evaluating the appearance of her students in a dinner with students in 2014.

The day after the nomination, Candidate Song also acknowledged the fact and even mentioned the possibility of falling out of the horse.

[Song Ok-ryeol / Fair Trade Chairperson Candidate (last 5 days): Even if there is no qualification or problems arise, I am thinking in my heart to accept the truth calmly.

I'm thinking about even those parts of the commonly-spoken horse.]

However, it is a sudden reaction from within the Fair Trade Commission, as it has been devoted to preparing for the hearing by visiting the personnel hearing preparation team.

As the first lawyer to win three awards in the public examination, he received attention as he was nominated as a candidate for the Fair Trade Commission chairman two months after the inauguration of the Yun Seok-yeol government.
