1067 slaughtered in Ajman abattoirs during the first day of Eid

The abattoirs of Ajman and the cities of Masfout and Manama received 1067 sacrifices during the first day of Eid al-Adha. The central abattoir received 797 sacrifices, while the abattoir of Manama received 134 sacrifices, and the abattoir of Masfout received 136 sacrifices.



The sacrifices were subjected to a virtual examination before slaughter to ensure their suitability for the sacrifice and to be free from any diseases affecting the health of the consumer, in addition to the veterinary examination of the meat after slaughter to ensure its safety and conformity to consumption, in order to preserve the health and safety of the consumer.



The Municipality and Planning Department in Ajman stated that the slaughterhouse completed all preparations for work during the days of Al-Adha, as it opened its doors to the public on the first day of Eid after the Eid Al-Adha prayer until four in the afternoon, while work will continue during the days of Eid from seven in the morning until four in the afternoon. It provided qualified manpower, including technicians and workers, to serve the auditors, as well as to inspect the equipment and ensure its readiness to accommodate all types of sacrifices and provide all the necessary needs for the workflow in the slaughterhouse.



The department announced that the medical staff is working on examining the sacrificial animal before and after slaughter in accordance with international standards to ensure the safety of the sacrificial animal and its freedom from diseases in order to preserve the health and safety of the consumer, and the sacrifice will be numbered for ease of tracking.



The department noted that the Masfout abattoir began receiving customers from Friday, July 8, until Monday, July 11, from seven in the morning until seven in the evening, while the Manama abattoir receives customers on Sunday and Monday from seven in the morning until four in the afternoon.
