The murder of Malin Lindström in Husum in 1996 was recently taken up again in court.

The same man who was convicted in the district court, but acquitted in the court of appeal over 20 years ago, was charged with murder and in court he presented a new story that would explain how his DNA had been found on Malin Lindström's trousers.

In addition, Malin Lindström's father, Rune Lindström, one of the 44 - year - old's relatives, several witnesses from the day in question when 16-year-old Malin disappeared in 1996 and a doctor were heard in court during the trial.
