In her Telegram channel, Zakharova drew attention to Burbock's statement that the Russian minister allegedly held most of the negotiations at the G20 Ministerial Council in Indonesia not indoors, but outside.
Burbock also claimed that this allegedly indicates the unwillingness of the Russian authorities to dialogue.
“Outside what room?
What utter nonsense, ”Zakharova wrote.
She said that Lavrov had been in the hall since the beginning of the meeting, and after about two hours he left for negotiations with his forum colleagues in the next room.
She also stated that Lavrov worked out the meeting, attended the dinner on behalf of the organizers, held numerous bilateral contacts and talked to international media.
The representative of the Foreign Ministry believes that Burbock made such a statement in connection with the failure of the plan of the G7 countries to boycott Russia.
“No one supported Western regimes.
So they come out of anger, ”Zakharova stated.
Earlier, Lavrov said that at a meeting of G20 foreign ministers, Western ministers were unable to answer uncomfortable questions that Russia asked.
