Mohamed bin Zayed mourns former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, mourned the death of former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, who died after being shot by a gunman while delivering a speech in the city of Nara this morning, Friday. 

His Highness said, on his official account on Twitter: "We received with great sadness the news of the death of our dear friend Shinzo Abe, who was known for his sincerity and dedication to serving his homeland, Japan. He contributed to strengthening the historical relations that unite the UAE and Japan. My sincere condolences to his honorable family and people. Japanese friend.
