“And most importantly: we are launching a double degree program so that those who enter the territory of the people's republics, the best of them have the opportunity to also receive diplomas from leading Russian universities,” Falkov said.
He also said that the quota for admission to Russian universities for graduates of Donbass schools has been increased from 18 to 23 thousand places.
Earlier, the Russian government approved a draft agreement on mutual recognition of education with the Luhansk People's Republic.
Deputy Minister of Education of Russia Denis Gribov said that Donbass is in favor of the introduction of the Russian education system.
