A major fire in Bordezac

Since this Thursday, a fire has set the Cévennes on fire.

For the time being, 620 hectares of vegetation have been ravaged by the flames, according to the latest report communicated by the Gard prefecture.

The fire covers the communes of Bordezac and Bessèges.

A bungalow, a garage and two cars were destroyed and 18 firefighters were slightly injured when they came into contact with the fire.

The inhabitants of Bordezac must remain confined.

Several fires in Arles

Bouches-du-Rhône firefighters are fighting this Friday morning against a fire in Arles which has ravaged two hectares near the D35.

This fire comes a few hours after another fire in Arles, which occurred on Thursday.

The flames covered 70 hectares, damaged eight homes and store storage and burned three cars.

250 firefighters mobilized in Saint-Mitre-les-Remparts

The mobilization of 250 firefighters made it possible to fix a major fire that occurred overnight from Thursday to Friday in Saint-Mitre-les-Remparts, in the Bouches-du-Rhône.

The flames ravaged fifty hectares.



45 fire starts in the Bouches-du-Rhône

At 9 p.m. this Thursday, the Bouches-du-Rhône firefighters had counted more than 45 fire starts, some of which were significant, such as in Martigues, where seven hectares went up in smoke, or at Puy-Sainte-Réparade, where 120 firefighters managed to fix a fire of four hectares.

On waking up this Friday, the firefighters continue their battle against new homes, especially in Cabriès.
