Joe Biden, much criticized in his own camp for his defense deemed timorous of the right to abortion, will take, on Friday July 8, a series of regulatory measures to, among other things, protect the confidentiality on the Internet of women wishing to terminate a pregnancy.

According to a statement from the White House, the US president will sign an executive order to "protect sensitive health information" and "combat digital surveillance" related to abortion.

The text, whose scope remains limited in the face of American states that have decided to ban abortion, also provides, among other things, for protecting mobile abortion clinics at the borders of these states, guaranteeing access to contraception and abortion pills, and to organize a network of voluntary lawyers.
