Sentenced on July 5 by the Bas-Rhin Assize Court to the maximum sentence he faced, i.e. life imprisonment with 22 years of security for the murder of Sophie Le Tan, Jean-Marc Reiser appealed of his conviction, we learned Thursday from one of his lawyers.
