The Lord Mayor of Frankfurt, Peter Feldmann (SPD), wants to comment on his planned retirement for early 2023 on Friday.
He will also answer questions, it says in the announcement.
Feldmann returns from a delegation trip to Vietnam on Thursday.
In October, the mayor has to answer in court for accepting benefits.
