According to the politician, the danger for the Polish side lies in the fact that, against the backdrop of Russia's special operation in Ukraine, the entry of Polish troops even into the western regions of this country will mean entering into an open conflict with Moscow. 

He also called for thinking about the possible outcomes of such a conflict, "given the fact that no one would particularly protect the Poles."

They would have taken this input only as an initiative of Poland, not NATO,” Piskorski said.

Earlier, the director of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service, Sergei Naryshkin, said that the Polish leadership was working on various plans for the division of Ukraine.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that the Ukrainian territory is being actively developed by the Polish authorities.
