"Eight Russian and Chinese regions intend to expand trade and economic cooperation," RIA Novosti reported.

It is noted that representatives of the Amur and Sakhalin regions, the Jewish Autonomous Region, the Kamchatka, Primorsky and Khabarovsk territories, the Chinese provinces of Heilongjiang and Guangdong on July 6 held two major events on the development of cooperation via video link.

As a result, commercial documents were signed between 48 companies from Russia and China.

At the same time, about 200 more enterprises expressed their desire to continue communication during B2B negotiations.

Earlier, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Yuri Borisov said that Russia is counting on China's assistance in the production of microelectronics.
