The Court of Instruction number 4 of Barcelona has sentenced British climber George King to four months in prison for sneaking into PortAventura early in the morning on July 4, climbing the Ferrari Land Red Force attraction and parachuting.

Along with him, another person, of Spanish nationality, who accompanied King to film the action, was also sentenced.

The magistrate imposes four months in prison on the two for a crime of trespassing in an establishment open to the public outside of access hours and a fine of 480 euros, although she suspends the prison sentence on the condition that they do not commit another crime in two years.

The sentence indicates that King, 22, and the other convicted, 18, jumped the 2.5-meter-high perimeter fence of the amusement park around six in the morning and went to the attraction.

Once there, King, who was wearing a parachute, began to climb while the other condemned man filmed the scene and then spread the images.

However, a park security guard who noticed it notified the Mossos d'Esquadra and stopped them.

When the police came they arrested them.

The attraction was not damaged.

The two convicted went through a quick trial after accepting the sentence imposed.

This Thursday King explained his experience on social networks and posted a video with the title "base jump on the highest roller coaster in Europe Red Force" and added that he had been wanting to climb the attraction for several years but waited until he knew more about skydiving to do it.

"Once I landed, security/police surrounded me... with no chance to run, I decided to lay on my back like a starfish looking up at the sky from where I had fallen... laughing hysterically as all the authorities formed a semi-circle around me. looking at me trying to figure out what to do with this weird Englishman," King says, concluding "then I was slapped around in the cells for 48 hours and given a 2-year suspended prison sentence...which means no more! more climbs in Spain for 2 years! I'm very crazy!"

George King has starred in other climbs without ropes on the facade of the Glòries tower and the Melià hotel in Barcelona, as well as other buildings in several countries, including some skyscrapers.

He now he will not be able to do it in Spain in the next few years if he does not want to end up in prison.
