It was the last day of school for the primary students!

A lot of joy, but also a bit of nostalgia in this Strasbourg school where Europe 1 went.

This Thursday marked the last day of school before the school holidays for primary school students.

A lot of joy, but also a bit of nostalgia in this Strasbourg school.

A guard of honour, applause, and even the music of

Pirates of the Caribbean

for the CM2 students who passed through the school gates for the very last time.

A moving moment for Youssef: "It still makes me quite sad to leave this school because I've been here for five years. I've made a lot of friends and I'll be in a college where no one will be. with me", he said at the microphone of Europe 1.

An emotion that the grandparents also feel, like Patrick, who came to pick up his granddaughter.

"It's a page that turns for them. It's touching to see them like that. They bring tears to our eyes," he says, moved.

A busy schedule

Once the tears have dried, the holiday euphoria quickly takes over.

The program is already full for some of them.

"We're going either to the south of France or to Turkey, we're going toboggan, swim, play, laugh," rejoices Lilia in advance.

For Anira, the holidays are less fixed: "I don't know yet where I'm going to go as a holiday destination, but first my mom is going to enroll me in a center where they take us to amusement parks, to the swimming pool, etc.", announces Anira.
