The justice of the peace of the Tagansky district of Moscow will consider the protocol against WhatsApp for repeated refusal to localize the data of Russians. The company faces a fine of up to 18 million rubles, RIA Novosti was told in the press service of the court.
The meeting is scheduled for June 28 at 10:30 am, the agency was told.
The court also registered protocols against the Spotify music service and Snap (the owner of the Snapchat application) under the same article, they face fines of up to 6 million rubles.
